Goodnight Tweetheart by Teresa Medeiros

Good morning everyone! I figured it was time for another review. Yesterday I took the kidlets to the library and of course while there I had to pick up a couple of books myself. Not that my TBR pile isn't big enough. As I was looking at the Just In shelf I found a book I have been planning to read since the beginning of the . year. Goodight Tweetheart by Teresa Medeiros.  I really do enjoy the stories that Teresa puts on the page, plus the fact that she is pretty much a local author (give or take 60 miles..lol), though I have yet to make a book signing. One of these days I will. Anyway on to the review.

Goodnight Tweetheart is a book about a relationship that starts and develops on twitter. Most of the book is written almost entirely in tweets. Abby is an author who's first book sky rocketed to the best selling list and is now stuck trying to write her second book, 3 years after the first one she is still only on chapter 5. Her agent suggests she log on to Twitter to "connect" with her fans. So she does and meets MarkBaynard who gives her a quick Twitter 101 lesson and they take off from there, chatting daily. witty banter back and forth in 140 characters or less. The relationship develops over time and Addy finds herself falling for Mark as he travels the world. She also becomes unblocked in her writing. Then Mark drops a bomb on her, he's not what/who he made himself out to be. Can Addy forgive him, will her love overcome the obstacle that is thrown in her path? I will let you be the one to find that out.

I truly enjoyed this book. Once I picked it up I couldn't put it down. The kidlets almost went hungry last night, I had to force myself to put it down long enough to fix them dinner. That's always a sign of a good book to me. I started and finished this book yesterday and am glad I picked it up. Teresa never seems to let us down. Each book I read of hers is well written, a great love story and some wonderful wittiness to it. I also love that she put both of her cats in the book, Buffy the Mouseslayer and Willow Tum Tum have had their 15 minutes of fame. I wonder if that has changed their demeanor at home now..lol Great read in my book, one to add to your TBR pile if you are a romantic at heart like me.

Have a great day, and let me know what Your Need To Read is right now. #sharewithus
